The team has hundreds of experts, scholars and technicians whose specializations cover radiation imaging, radiation protection, electronics, machinery, computer, automatic control, and civil work, etc.

Cooperated with quite many varieties of excellent research institutes, manufacturers and suppliers, PowerScan has setup an international cooperation platform for global partners and suppliers to guide the future development of security inspection technologies. The company established the "Sino-Russian NDT International Joint Laboratory” with the Institute of Nondestructive Testing, Tomsk Polytechnic University, Russia; and the "China-Arab Radiation Detector International Joint Laboratiory" with the King Abdul-Aziz Science City, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

PowerScan established its new manufacturing center in 2021 in Industrial Park of Taixin Economic integration science and Technology Corridor, Taiyuan,Shanxi Province.
